Reaction to a drug commonly prescribed for humans is the most common cause of poisoning in dogs. However, I've been reading about all kinds of foods that are actually toxic as well to our furry friends. Sometimes our kitchen gets pretty messy and food falls on the floor. What's the harm in letting our dogs clean it up for us? Depends on what it is and what's in it. Below is a list of foods that are toxic for dogs. It's a smart idea to always keep the number of your vet as well as Animal Poison Control (888) 426-4435 if your pet has ingested a toxic substance.
